that would require internal consistency of logic, which isn’t exactly a Republican’s strong suit.
The best part of the story, is that the reporter in the story that shot the congressman was acquitted due to self defense.
So the congressman retelling the story as justification to attack reporters, was shot for self defense for attacking a reporter.
