Suspect driver of the vehicle was taken into custody; M/30’s Asian, WAS KNOWN TO POLICE, reportedly had mental health issues (or a good lawyer) VPD conducted a Search Warrant on his home today. Will be following to see what political spin the media is ordered to put on this, especially two days before a federal election where catch-and-release has been a topic of much debate.
I’m going to assume that he was having a mental health crisis of some sort, if only because it wasn’t immediately blasted out by the right wing media
