At this point now a days, I’d love to see the Overton window shift such that a LEO’s word only holds as much as lowly citizen’s word. That, without their WBC backing up a percentage of the LEO’s point of view. There is too much evidence that shows a number of officers flat out lying; perjuring themselves on false incident reports.
I had too much fun going down the rabbit hole of the 1st Amendment Auditor videos thing. I am not upset about bad, lying cops; I am furious at the bystander cops tacitly allowing the bad behavior to continue, and allowing the bad behavior to go unchallenged.

Worn Body Cameras keep everyone honest and safe. An arrestee make a false accusation of assault? That arrestee has now made it easier for a prosecutor to convict. An arrestee makes a factual valid claim of assult? Guess what? That arrestor has made it easier for a prosecutor to convict.

That doesn’t happen until the corruption of “rule for thee” gets to be excised.
